BAX Guangzhou to start customs clearance service
Date: 12/7/2005
BAX`s Guangzhou office in China`s Pearl River Delta has recently gained approval from the municipal Customs authorities to act as a customs clearance agent for its customers. In a statement, BAX said the move will help improve the quality and efficiency of customs clearance services its customers enjoy as the company will in future be able to provide professional customs service support and customised customs clearance solutions. At present, most international freight forwarders in China are not entitled to provide customs clearance services for imports and exports and are therefore forced to contract out the business to local customs brokers.
